AAU Program Details
District One Basketball Academy is building a unique AAU program that develops the best student athletes in the area. 70% of parents surveyed are looking for an AAU program whose primary focus is skills development for players. In addition to the traditional two practices a week, D1 will incorporate weekly skills training and conditioning that could be before the season begins or during the AAU season. This third practice day allows our coaches to put more emphasis on offense, defense, team strategy, and game play the other two practice days. D1 Coaches focus on teaching players how to react, respond and play the game based on intuition and basketball IQ not simply to execute plays. Unlike other programs that focus on play repetitions at practice, D1 players are easily able to transition to school, CYO, or recreational leagues. D1 Coaches are dedicated to our student athletes and are a key to building the culture of District One Basketball Academy. We also have team skill workouts on Sundays starting in November. No other program offers team skill set training.
